9:30am to 3:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Purina Farms "Countrytime BBQ, Bluegrass and Brews Festival", featuring Kids Carnival: June 16 – 17, 2018 at the Visitor Center. Admission is free. Parking is $5.
Note: This event is dog-friendly, so all well-mannered dogs who are up-to-date on vaccinations may attend.
***Join them at this family-friendly (and dog-friendly) event at the Purina Farms Visitor Center. Enjoy toe-tapping music, lively clogging demonstrations, delicious BBQ offered by Chris' Smoke House food truck and frosty cold beverages from Six Mile Bridge Brewery.
***Listen to tunes from George Portz & “Friends of Bluegrass”. This versatile performing group blends its fiery Bluegrass roots with some fine traditional Irish and Louisiana Cajun music to rave reviews. Portz, the group’s leader and founder, is an Illinois State Fair Fiddle Champion, Western Illinois State Fiddle Champion and his fiddling highlights include over 130 First Place Championships. Performances between 10am – 3pm each day during the Countrytime Festival.
